** Swipe the dust.. **
Hello all, have been a while never update my blog, hehe..
Erm, maybe is because of my laziness and business (not so
busy bah..)
The year 2016 has been a great year for me and it is as
wonderful as always.
Before the year ended, I would like to record down a few of
the ‘highlights of the year’ as a counting of God’s blessings and to remind
myself to be grateful always.
1.
JANUARY
- I resigned from my second job in Singapore as a Course Administrator in one
of the private education institution. I was blessed because before I gonna
start my next job, I have given a long holiday of one month (being jobless) and
return to my lovely hometown. Although in the past few months there are sadness
in my job but I will still be grateful as it is a chance for me to learn to be
strong in difficulties and I met a very good mentor – my direct reporting
manager. He definitely practice a good skill of being a leader. Honestly, I enjoyed
being jobless as I know after that I will be starting a new job.
2.
FEBRUARY
- It’s one of my favourite month, the Chinese New Year. Of course, it is a
reunion time for friends and family to gather together. I started a new job in
Duck n Hippo as a Customer Service Officer. I think it might be a suitable job
for me as I like to talk, Hehe. As a beginner in the industry and in the
company, there are a lot of stuffs I will need to learn. Just remind myself, to
be humble always.
3.
MARCH to
MAY – Nothing much and nothing special happening in this period. Work and
work and work everyday and waiting for my application of Permanent Residence in
Singapore to be approved. Still the same, checking in the website almost
everyday but still see “PENDING”. HAHA.. I know GOD will has his plan on me,
just need to be patience and have faith in HIM. The right thing will come in
the right time.
4.
JUNE –
Dad paid me a short visit (2D1N) in Singapore as he was having his meeting with
his partners and clients over here. Brought him for a nice dinner and of
course, brought him on board our Hop On Hop Off bus for a short trip and showed
him my workplace.
5.
JULY –
It’s the month of my dad’s birthday thus I planned to give him a surprise by
flying back to Ipoh to celebrate his birthday with him (just nice my off day is
on that week). I coordinated this very well with my cousins and siblings and my
parents were so surprise that I came back out of sudden as I told them I will
only be back on the end of the month. I will never forget the response of my
parents and especially my dad (indescribable).
6.
AUGUST
– Thanks GOD! I was so so happy this month as my PR application is approved and
I got my physical Singapore Blue NRIC after submitting my documents. I cannot
forget the response when I saw from the online portal that my application is “APPROVED”,
I cannot wait to tell my bf and my dad about this. THANKS GOD..!!
7.
SEPTEMBER
– This is the month that marks our 7th year being together with
my bf. Thank you all the caring and love to me and I hope our love will stay
stronger and forever.
8.
OCTOBER
– This is my excited month. Why? Because I am going to my favourite country –
HONG KONG with my family and my bf. This time some of the experience during the
trip is not so pleasant, in term of the people and some activities, but we
still enjoyed the time being together very much. Thanks dad and bf for being
one of the main sponsor for the trip. We look forward to our next family trip.
9.
NOVEMBER
– End of the year usually will be busy attending friend’s wedding. Sorry that
because of my working schedule, I have missed some of my friend’s wedding
dinner / party but in my deep heart, I really wish them a blissful marriage as
getting married will be entering another stage of our life. But I still managed
to attend one of my brother-in-christ’s wedding in Ipoh. I think I have met him
since 10 years ago or maybe more. At the same time, I also can take the chance
to go back for my family.
10.
DECEMBER –
As usual, I think this is a favourite month of many people, because of
CHRISTMAS & for those who like to shopping, it’s year-end sales (Seriously,
it is so much sales and this is always a best time to shop for Christmas present
and CNY stuff. Hahaha). No special celebration for Christmas for me and him, we
just enjoyed having our time of being together (we went movie and eating).
Before that year end, I would like to say sorry to those I
have hurt and a big thank you to those who entered into my life: my parents, my
siblings, my boyfriend, my cousins, my friends, my colleagues and etc. Every
single moments of you all have made my life incredible and wonderful. Tears, Laughters,
Difficulties, Problems that came to us, I believe they have made us grow and
become stronger.
Wishing that the coming new year, everything will continue
to be wonderful and become of blessings for all of us!
